KELO-COTE® Scar Gel UV
KELO-COTE® UV with SPF30 is an advanced formula silicone gel specifically developed to help protect scars against the effects of the sun. And that’s important because regardless of your skin colour, scars don’t contain melanin – the pigment that protects your skin from UV radiation. So if they’re left exposed to the sun, scars can experience sun-induced redness and hyper-pigmentation.
So if you’ve got a scar – or you’re due to undergo surgery – on a part of your body exposed to the sun, like your face or hands, choose KELO-COTE® UV Gel. Not only does its silicone formula help to improve the appearance of scars and reduce redness, it also contains SPF30 sunscreen, which absorbs up to 97% of UVB radiation and protects it from the sun.
